I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS HERPES OR NOT!

About 4 weeks ago I noticed a little bump below my belly button, and after that another little bump in the same area but lower. About a week after that I started getting bumps moving farther down and to the right going down to the area around the base of my penis, and there are also a couple of bumps on my penis ( the highest one being about a quarter of the way up the shaft. All of the bumps are very small and some have what looks to be two hairs growing out of them, not out of the top, but more on the side. None of the bumps have actually turned into blisters and they are not filled with a clear fluid. I've tried to pop two of them but they are to small and if i squeeze hard enough, you can see it becomes blood filled, and only a little blood will come out. I have had these bumps on my pubic region and penis for about 3 weeks, and some of the bumps at the base of the penis leave little marks when they heal (nothing big, but just a tiny patch that is a little lighter than the skin around it exactly where the bump was like a scar). Now 1 week ago i noticed very tiny bumps on my fingers, but they are very faint now, and also these things that almost look like little domes under the skin around the cuticles and tips of my fingers. To add to it, the past couple of days my head ( not my penis head) has started to itch a lot. I dont know if they are related, or its just because im driving my self crazy. I just want to know what someone else thinks. thank you

I recommend making an appointment with a dermatologist this week to be seen and follow up  on this more properly.

I think your doctor is a little out of date with Herpes.  Bumps in pubic region can be caused by pimples or even fungal infections.  I am not sure what he is thinking.  I would be a little more forceful with your doctor and state you WANT the proper testing done.  I don't think there is a real reason why not to get it done.

Yes, his exact words were " I dont want to go through all that just yet". So he gave me that to see if it would help. I just dont understand that if he thinks that the bumps on my hands are caused by a virus, then the bumps i have in my pubic region must be caused by a virus also, because i dont really think it is a coincidence. Are there any other viruses that do that besides herpes?

so once again you didn't have any proper testing done?

acyclovir doesn't work for all viruses.

The doctor said he definately thinks the little bump things on some of my fingers are caused by a virus and gave me acyclovir to see if it does anything. I feel like I pretty much have my mind made up that this is herpes

I'd make a complaint to the clinic you were seen at. they wasted your time and money and that was not giving good patient care.  write or type a written complaint and mail it to the clinic manager.

I went to a health clinic today because I couldnt get an appointmant with my doctor today and it made me mad because I went in and the lady asked what was wrong and as soon as "bumps" she stopped me and said "I dont deal with bumps, its probably herpes, thats my guess". I understand that maybe she cant speak on that if its not her area, but dont just say herpes without even looking : (

this doesn't sound like  herpes issue. stop picking at these and trying to pop them and be seen promptly. could be many things going on and the sooner you get answers, the better.

I understand why you would be worried, but I really dont think there is a need to! I mean we always have some bumbs here and there, its easy to stare blindly at them.

Also im gonna quote, to the best of my recollection, some other guy who has had herpes for years and wrote "if you have a bumb thats herpes its gonna turn into a blister FAST, ant its gonna hurt to touch. Squeezing will NOT be an option"

Good luck mate! Post update after you talked to someone so other people with your fears can be calmed!

Thats what I was thinking too, but I saw things on other sites saying an outbreak can look like pimples, so it worries me. And to answer your question, most of the bumps on my pubic area, and some of the ones on the shaft do have what looks to be literally two hairs growing out of the same place, and the hairs are either growing out of the side of the bump or right next to it. But yes im going to get it checked as soon as i can

Hello!

When it comes to bumps I think you can rest pretty assured that if they dont become blisters you'r pretty safe!

Have you checked if they are based around a individual hairs?

I think you should show this to almost anyone working with healthcare and they will tell you its not herpes, and then you can relax! :)
