I definitely abraded my penis, but I'm worried I contracted hepes too.

I have in the past irritated this one spot just under my glans when I have masturbated excessively. Last week, I masturbated 5 times and was feeling irritation, when I then very briefly recieved oral sex from a stranger. They literally had my penis in their mouth for just a couple seconds, and then I decided I didn't want to continue and left. Being paranoid, I even used disinfectant on my penis before washing my genitals in the shower. The next day there was irritation on that same spot again which persisted for another week. The fact that I continued masterbating certainly didn't help. Now, it's been 9 days and a yellowish crust has formed over two of the fordayce spots I have there, and it does look reminiscent of later stage oral herpes to me. I also know that I was exposed to herpes when I was molested as a child (idk if they had an active outbreak but I know the person had both oral and genital herpes), so I'm constantly worried that it's been dormant this whole time. Is it possible that herpes infected the area that was already vulnerable from abrasion? Would bbn it make sense to not see a scab or crust until now from an abrasion? I have a photo, but I'm not sure how to post it or if that's even allowed here.

First, I'm sorry that you were molested as a child, and that anything that is happening to you today has to bring that up for you.

It's hard to say what's happening since you have been masturbating to the point of irritation, then used a disinfectant on your penis. (You should know for future reference that doing this won't prevent infection. It will only cause irritation.)

At 9 days, it wouldn't help to see a photo (and none of us are doctors and can't diagnose).

For a few seconds of oral sex, you really had no risk. I wouldn't worry about that at all if I were you.

If you want to know if you have either type of herpes, you can ask your doctor for a type specific IgG blood test. I don't know what happened when you were molested, and certainly don't need to know, but I will say that hsv1 is transmitted by kissing and by oral sex. Hsv2 is transmitted by vigorous genital to genital or genital to anal rubbing/grinding, or penetration.

You can determine yourself if you've been at risk for either type. About half the adult population has hsv1, and most get it as kids from well-meaning adults who kiss us, not realizing their cold sore is infectious. Others get it from sharing toys when we're at the stage that everything goes in our mouths.

If you haven't ever talked to anyone about what happened to you, and you want to, contact RAINN - https://www.rainn.org/about-national-sexual-assault-telephone-hotline They have a phone hotline and live chat. (If you aren't in the US, and want a resource, let me know.)
