I had std checks done they came back al negative...

My last herpes test was <.10 and I got a new test done a couple of days ago and it came back <.9... I know is negative but why did it change is my question??

The numbers will never be zero, and they won't be static. It's just kind of background noise. I could test today, and have it be 5.3, and tomorrow have it be 4.2, and the next it be 7.8. It doesn't mean that I have more herpes one day than the next, or less. It's just a matter of how the test is read. Sometimes it depends on who's reading it and reporting it.

It's absolutely nothing to worry about.
