I may have herpes
Recently just had unprotected 31 Oct 17 Saturday morning- Sunday I have these bumps which appear under my lip. Monday follows a fever that only lasted a day, my throat became sore for a few days. Everything has cleared up this far except the bumps that are now crusted over.
This past Saturday I've got a full panel STD testing done. HIV came back negative I'm just waiting on the other results...
Does it sound like i have contract HSV-1?

So tbe bumps came a day after the exposure? If so thats too soon for herpes lesions to appear

It was actually 3 days after. I had contact wednesday, that Saturday they had shown up
There is a chance this could be hsv. 3 days us enough time for lesions to start forming. Your test at 5 weeks could very well be enough time to get a positive reading if it was an hsv primary outbreak. 12 weeks is conclusive but 5 weeks more than 50% of people would test positive at this time.
Well I just had my test STD test done this past Saturday!
