HSV 2 IGG Type specific AB 0.03
so what does this mean?

That's incorrect. The virus "sheds" periodically, meaning it is active with no symptoms, and thus can be transmitted. If you read the link grace mentioned, it states it there as well.

I in fact have genital HSV1 that was transmitted via oral sex from my partner's (HSV1 positive) mouth. He's not had a visible cold sore for years, since before we dated.

That being said, since your wife already has it,  you both already have the antibodies giving you each significant protection from getting it elsewhere on your body. It's just best refrain from oral sex when having an active outbreak.

From what I have read it doesnt appear I can transmit this. I have never had any symptom - never had a cold sore etc. My wife does.

yes you can transmit your hsv1.

I did a bunch of tests HIV, Hep profile, HSV1 HSV 2 just for kicks. I have no signs, symptoms etc.
Is it not true that my results mean I have the antibody - came in contact with HSV1 - but not active? Can I transmit this>?

you are hsv1+ like most adults are.

your hsv2 is negative.

what caused you to get tested?

no, ebv will not cause a + hsv1 igg ( you asked this on the other forum I see )
