Itchy/Burning Above Pubic Hair after encounter--herpes?

Hey,

So I was looking for some feedback about an encounter I had on Saturday evening 10/17. There was kissing, receptive oral and skin to skin contact but no penetration (mainly just a lot of rubbing of her vagina on the stomach area and pubic area. On Sunday or Monday I began feeling this feeling as if it were razor burn or itchiness just above my public hair-- almost belt line. There are no red bumps just an uncomfortable feeling. I also acquired a couple of very small canker sores in my mouth, they appear to be canker sores and have no blistered or crusted. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on if these sound like symptoms of herpes. I also must add that I've had a mild sore throat the last couple days as well. I've read in a couple different places that herpes can have symptoms as mild as feeling like razor burn. Let me know what you think, please.

Thanks, Life-- I wasn't aware that the itching/burning could last for 3-4 days just from grinding and sweat. When is the best time for me to test? Would 2 weeks provide any value or closure?

You need not be this concerned and the itching is most likely from friction irritation from the grinding.

I am most worried due to the genital to genital contact-- with no penetration. I read that herpes can be "massaged" in and if she was "grinding" on me that's where my worry lies.

Life-

I truly appreciate the response, reading through these forums helps my knowledge and understanding as well as appreciate how you moderators help out.

What would you chalk up the canker sores and burning feeling in pubic hair to? I wouldn't say that it's coincidence that this happened a couple of days after my exposure. I spoke with the girl who said she was a virgin and only has had oral sex 3 times in her life (4 including me). While this is no indicator that she would not have HSV-1 or 2, it still seems very low risk that she would have anything.

To add some context, she was African-American and I tested about 5 weeks ago (before my encounter) and was Neg for HSV-1 and 2 as well as HIV and Syphillis. I won't keep bugging you with questions, I just want some feedback on what you may chalk up this discomfort around my waistline (maybe a little below) to?

Hi, you fall into a low risk group and if she did not have any genital or mouth sores at the time your risk would be close to zero from a one time affair. Those most at risk are in long term mono relationships where one partner is infected. Your symptoms donot suggest herpes.
