Irritation

I have just a quick question, without confusing anybody ;)  I have a fattier mons pubis, so when I shave it's a difficult task.  Right on each side, where the opening to my Labia Majora is above the clitoris, on the skin that is covered in hair.  I get a small sensitive rash, only after shaving and then sex. (which is rougher then normal) the reason for mentioning the fattier mons pubis is... cause of it's fattier size my hair line turns in so when the hair grows back, it's like having a buzz cut on each side rubbing each other... (sorry if it's confusing) that is why it's hard to shave, because I actually have to turn the skin out to get the hair off, is it normal to get an irritation there? (let me add it's not easy to get the hair off) Can you get a yeast infection or have irritation because of unprotected sex? (they are uncircumcised) also, I have a pin size red spot, that is super super tiny... not in that area but below it and completely isolated, it looks like it could be bloody, like a sore. but there is no pain, no itch, no red around it, no scab, nothing at all. What can cause these? Shaving? I am not the most gentle when it comes to shaving, I generally shave the same day of sexual activities and then the day or two after I feel the irritation.  some factors to help, I am overweight, I wear a lot of lace underwear, I am very active, I wear tighter jeans, NO smell, Just got over my period the same day of shaving and sexual acts as well. Does this sound like it could be herpes? any insight to anything would help... sorry if I confused the hell outta you!

yes it can be that mild but I'm guessing when you shave ( which pubic hair helps to protect our delicate areas ), you have an area that your clothing is rubbing or something that irritates it.

Ok, so with that being said. I will have to get that blood test.  If it does come back positive, would that be the cause of all of this? like in all reality, can it really be that mild?  just general questions and no worries.. not scared to death, those are facts!

usually herpes is not included on routine testing.

Not to scare you but over 90% of folks who have hsv2, have no idea they have it until tested. it's something you need tested for periodically, not something you'd KNOW you have.

nothing more then your general STD panel, every 3 months.  Can herpes be that mild? like one singular tiny spot? My GYN states that I would without a doubt know when something is wrong, he is very detailed and goes over my past 3 appointments at each visit and I am an examiner (so to say) I am petrified of std's!

sounds more like irritation than anything. you might want to stop shaving for awhile and see if that helps.

if you want to know if you have herpes, seek out a type specific herpes igg blood test at some point to know your status. have you and your partner had herpes testing before?
