which type do you have by the way? HSV1 or HSV2. HSV1 is normally very mild and only causes outbreaks once every few years.
HSV2 on the other hand can be a much more problematic part of one's life.
Find out, if you can, which form you have.
Absolutely doesn't mean HIV or AIDS! HSV2 is a very serious condition but it's also extraordinarily common. HIV/AIDS isn't.
if you are concerned about HIV, take the blood test 12 weeks after last sexual contact for a CONCLUSIVE result.
HSV outbreaks (after the first one) will occur on one side at a time. Not both at the same time.
Hi
Thank you, was tested positiv for herpes, does that mean hiv/aids? is it true if you have hiv/aids, herpes dont stick to one side of the body but all over?
Based on that description, it could definitely be.
If it's been 8 months, your IgG will be conclusive now. Go get tested and let us know how it goes.
Good luck.
