Is it herpes or folliculitis?

I've been careless in the past and not used protection a time or two. Anyhow, just recently I had a girl grinding on top of me(both fully clothed) for a while. There was a lot of friction down there. I wear boxer briefs, so they're constructing as well. Today I noticed 4 or 5 raised redish tiny bumps, all where the pubic hair at the base of my penis lies. Each bump has a hair coming from it a I'm fairly certain it's folliculitis but I'm checking for opinions. It does itch pretty bad but I figured that's accompanied by what I guess is jock itch. I've never been able to sit still very long as my backside would sweat and become itchy(this is before ever being sexually active. My thighs will itch from time to time as well.
