Is it possible to have HSV II and test negative for it
luckyseven777
My wife just tested positive for HSV II (1.91) and I tested positive as well (1.93). I tested negative 1 year ago and don't understand. Does this mean she has been with someone else who has it?

both of your hsv2 igg's are very low positives and you both need to seek out additional confirmatory testing.
I recommend you both seek out herpes western blot blood tests at this point.

No it doesn't mean that she was with someone else it takes sometime before the virus become active in your body.
