Just contracted

Hi there,

I just found out that i contracted herpes.

I googled herpes and found some stuff that left me confused.
for example, a few sites said that herpes is only contagious when sores are present yet others say that they can be passed even when the sores aren't present.

Also if i have HSV1 & HSV2, can i pass them thru sharing of food/drinks/utensils?

For those in Singapore, if you managed to find a support group, please do let me know. Those i've found are mainly overseas.

no I am not from singapore. you can google herpes support groups to look for 1 in your area.

because you are not in the US, I can't really help you with the testing you had done either.

I got a blood test done and I have HSV 1 & HSV 2.

what testing did you have done for herpes?
