Just wondering what this could be

Hi
I just have a question. The other day when I was in the shower I noticed a bump on my right inner upper vaginal lip. There is hair there. Although I typically don't shave, I shaved the area after I found it, to see what it looked like. It was just a red hard bump under the skin. Yesterday when I woke up there was tiny whitehead on it and it looked like a pimple. I squeezed the tiny white area and a bunch of yellow pus from underneath the skin came out. Last night I squeezed it again and a little more came out. Then there was a little clear stuff. Now all that remains is a smaller red bump. It itches a little but I obviously irritated it and the hair is growing back in. I didn't see any blister or lesion just the initial red bump and the tiny whitehead(sorry to be graphic) could this be herpes or something else?

Herpes lesions are superficial. Meaning on top of the skin. Hard red bumps like you describe are not herpes lesions. It's either an ingrown hair, pimple or folicus. Not herpes.

Also not sure if it matters but it was yellow liquid pus and also in the past I am negative for HSV 2 and possibly positive for HSV 1 Igg 1.22 but I've never had a cold sore or sore anywhere. Dr. Said it could be a false positive cause the numbers are low.
