Kissing and herpes

Please  I need some good answers on the  information about how does herpes transmit through kissing.. I'm a male who  kissed a female friend about 10 days ago ..  The type of kiss was  peck kissing twice no French but a sweet kind affection not other deep locked romantic kisses ..
My question is . Is it possible for herpes to be transmitted this way and what's the real initial incubation period . I'm very nervous. Please help

Takes more then pecking but rubbing to force the virus into the nerve. Yes children are more susptible to contracting it as their immune systems are not yet strong but for adults its not an issue with pecking.

It definitely is possible, children regularly contract oral herpes from their parents through sharing drinks, lip balms and obviously kissing.  If you had a sore at the time it is very likely she will also experience them at some point, however it is also likely she was aware that you had one. Otherwise you probably have nothing to worry about, based on how it's obviously making you feel now though I'd recommend you disclose it to anyone you are kissing in the future:)
