Life changing

Recently i went for a full test as i developed rashes all over my body. Some of the pimple on my shoulder and back resemble the yellowish liquid which i saw in the pictures for herpes. Eventually i tested positive for HSV-type 1. Was wondering if the yellowish liquid symptoms belong to type 1 or type 2 or could be either 1 as i went for a full test 2-3 weeks after my last sexual intercourse.

Another thing im most worried about is spreading it to others. Currently im dating this girl who has a bright future ahead of her. We kissed and i peck on her cheek and vice versa. Is it possible for her cheek to be infected with the virus? It hurts me a lot if i am the one who ruin her life because of this virus. There are many questions going in my mind now... Such as shedding means having dried skin? And also, i dont have any lesion on my body, will it be coming out soon?

Either on the genital area or facal area mostly the lips, would appear as blisters with clear liquid. Dosent take place in the fingers as a norm. only extremely rare cases a person develops Witlow but really rare.

on a side note, how does hsv type 1 outbreak looks like? Rashes then shedding occurs and dried skin on the finger tips?

Herpes are more clear liquid not puss as mentioned. If you overly concerned then just be careful for the next 2 months for the retest. I honestly dont believe its herper from the location and discription.

Because i am starting to have symptoms of type 2. Namely, yellowish liquid pimple and a couple of insect bite red bump. Thats why i believe that i might have contracted type 2 as well though the result shows that i am negative(test conducted 3 weeks after last sexual intercourse)
What i am worried most is spreading it to other people around me. I would be as guilty as charged. and now i am dating this innocent girl. I have kiss her before. And if she has type 1 then maybe it is fine. But if i spread type 2 virus to her. I dont know how to put it into words and explain it to her.

To be precise it not called the oral ganglion but is called the Trigeminal which is at the top of the spine.

Hi and welcome. To begin most of the adult population has HSV1 and it was acquired at childhood from kissing relatives or sharing drippling toys in day care and such. Cold sores that we have as a child would be them. Once you have a breakout, you may never have another again as the body builds up antibodies and forces the virus to retreat to the facial ganglia

Herpes dont appear on your back for one thing but are centered around the oral area and are not yellow filled puss but clear liquid.

You dont test for Herpes 2 weeks after contact and get a positve result, it takes at least 12 to 16 weeks for enough antibodies to build up for proper testing. It would be the herpes select type test and would say if it was hsv 1 or 2

If you tested positve now and never had a breakout, you most likely got this when you were a child.
