Lost to what I have

I am gay and I had unprotected oral sex with another man. About a week later for one day I felt a burning sensation in my penis for pretty much the whole day and then it subsided, no sores etc. It disappeared as quickly as it emerged. About 2 weeks later I had another oral sex encounter and the burning returned a week after that. It was painful, but not unbearable at all and it slowly weakened. I went to the doctor and he took a urine sample, I explained to him that not only did my urethra burn, but the skin around the head of my penis on my shaft burned; thats what bothered me the most because I usually have burning urine due to not drinking enough water. He prescribed me doxycycline and ampicillin, the symptoms almost seemed to go away immediately, except my penis being a little sore from the previous burning and examining; however, about a day after I finished them the burning returned still with no sores. I went back to the doctor and he gave me cipro antibiotic and Phenazopyridine. He told me to schedule an appointment with a urologist as he did not see anything indicating a UTI and he had already treated me for gon/chlam. I just finished the antibiotics and I remain on the Phena pills, the burning occurs more when my bladder is full and sometimes more when I am sitting. I have also noticed a burning between my penis and anus (taint) area. This burning will be completely gone in the morning when I awake and sometimes only occur randomly in the day; usually doesn't even bother me anymore at night, just late afternoon for a few hours. This has been going on for about 4 weeks. I only recently noticed a few painless bumps on my shaft. The best way I could describe it would be as something burning on my skin/sunburn feeling, yet I can put soap or anything on it and it won't burn more. Sometimes my penis feels really warm as well with an addition of increased urination even with minimal fluid intake. I do masturbate a lot and I wonder if it could be a cause because I have still been masturbating, I actually have no pain/burning when I am erect/ masturbating.
1) Does this sound like herpes? Even Atypical?
2) Any other opinions on what it could be?

I know I should probably ask this in another forum at this point but I wanted to see if you knew something. How long do symptoms usually persist after the treatment I listed above. I still have random burning but never any discharge so I'm starting to wonder if the gonerrhea and chlamydia were the cause, if maybe the treatment isn't working, or if it's something else. I am continuing use of Nyastatin and tri something cream as prescribed by my urologist. Took the shot and pills Friday and it is now 4 days. It's not as bad I guess but it's noticeable. Maybe everything's just inflamed from the infection still. Anyways my urologist took my urine and he will see I have gonerrhea and chlamydia so I am expecting a call from him soon.

Just decided to put some clarification incase someone else every has a similar problem. I was tested for stds about 3 weeks ago, I live in Louisiana and due to the hurricane the results took forever. I went to my Urologist and he gave me antifungal cream and did another urine analysis. Turns out I have Gonorrhea and Chlamydia that the doxy must have not handled. I was given a shot of Rocephin and some pills called Zithromax. I will follow up again with my urologist in a week or two. I am hoping this was the only cause. I also took an HIV rapid blood test and it was negative.

use the lotrimin twice a day every day for a week even if the rash goes away.

glad you understood what I typed. rereading my response this morning evidently my wine hit me a little harder than I thought last night...lol. I really can usually form coherent sentences I assure you :)

you can have prostate infections at your age. it's not just something old fellows get!!  what is normal bacteria in the mouth, isn't always so normal when introduced into the urogenital tract and can cause infections.

Thanks for the response. I have been using lotrimin, but not as consistently as I should be. The earliest I could get my appointment was about 2 weeks from now as they are very booked. I will take your advice though and drink more water and try to avoid sitting for long periods. It has bothered me seeing that it had been going on for 4-5 weeks now. Applying cold(ice) helps a little as well which is why I was leaning more towards a prostate issue; however, I am only 22. Plus the skin burning on my penis seems like a weird combination with prostate troubles.

this sounds like you have a fungal infection going on along with probably something else. have you tried a topical antifungal cream at all yet?

you weren't properly treated for gonorrhea. currently we don't recommend just oral antibiotics for it. make sure you get retested for gonorrhea 1 week after you last had any antibiotics.  you also need repeat urine testing as well as a manual exam of your prostate too.

does this sound like herpes? not really. typically hsv1 genitally is the risk from receiving oral and it usually presents with very obvious and painful blisters, not just the symptoms you've had.

the burning sensation in the near your anal area can be due to fungus or even hemorrhoids can have pain there. same with prostate infections can also sometimes cause a painful sensation there too.

at this point, drink plenty of water - like 8-10 cups a day, try not to sit for long periods of time , avoid alcohol , caffeine and spicy foods and follow up with the urologist. your provider so far has thrown a lot at you needlessly and getting a 2nd opinion is a good idea.
