Dear Terri,
Thanks a lot for the relieve. I will move on and decided to see a psychology expert to deal with my guilt or anxiety. Thanks for being an angel.
Dear Ms.Terri,
This will be my last question.
I am curious if is there any different between HSV IgG testing at 16 weeks and 4 months test ?
Thanks

Dear Ms.Terry,
As guessed by you
16 weeks
HSV IgG type I 0.17
HSV IgG type II 0.30
Thank you.
You are most welcome
Terri
You may move on without the 16 week test.
This is my final post on this thread.
Terri
Should I retest at 16 weeks despite clear negative ( boths hsv1 and 2 , no medicibe taken ) at 13 weeks? I would really move on and put this to rest, if you think my 16 weeks test in not needed.
Sorry for asking question again, this time I am asking for advise and permission to move on considering my case?
Thanks
Dear Ms.Terri,
Thank you for your kind answers, I wanna add that tip of my penis is feeling like burning sometimes, like soap is inside feeling. No blisters, sore, discharge, bump or leison. Is this herpes symptoms?
I would get my 4th month test in a week.. any different between 16 week and 4 months?
Thank you
1. You need contact with the place you would become infected. So no.
2. Yes
3 and 4. Both are true, though we use 16 weeks as our final test.
5. see above.
Terri
Dear Ms.Terri,
To sum the question up, I would like to know
1) Can a person get Oral HSV1 and Oral HSV2 if he does not kiss or perform oral on her, means his mouth did nothing ?
2) Does my test kit is Type Specific since it is IgG based and it gave me HSV1 and HSV2 ? or can i say type specific test is IgG unlike IgM ?
3) Can I conclude that 16 weeks test is not necessary because my result was not increasing toward positive and no symptoms (blisters, sores and discharge) ?
4) Does people who only get positive in 16 weeks usually are the one taking suppression therapy and has either one of the herpes before?
5) So, if there is no suppression therapy and no infected with either herpes, 12 weeks is conclusive? Correct?
Thanks

I am sorry for many questions and hope i did not annoy you.
Thank you very much !
I think you test results at 13 weeks will likely stay just that - negative. We recommend 16 weeks, but there are few people who change their status between 13 and 16 weeks. Those who do are usually trending toward positive if they test somewhere in the middle which you did not. This is especially true since you have had no symptoms at all.
Terri
Please ignore negative = 1.0
It should be
Negative less than 0.90
equivocal is between 0.91 to. 0.99
Positive is bigger than 1.0
I just wanna add, I never take any suppression medicine or therapy.
Please ignore Negative 1.00
it should be
Negative = 1.00
I had been seen by doctors too, they said it is not herpes.. since nothing can been seen.. no blister or sore..
Another QUestion is
Can i get Oral HSV1 and Oral HSV2 even I did not kiss or perform oral on her, mean my mouth did nothing ?
