Negative Test Result Herpes Outbreak??

Hi i need a doctor's opinion on this because I'm very confused and worried so i will use as much details as possible. In September i was with a girl who had genital herpes i don't know which one she had whether it was 1 or2 and neither did she. She did not take any medicine. We didn't have sex that much probably about twice,a month and i always used condoms.I've been tested 4 times and they all came back negative including my last one that was 6 months and a week after we last had sex which was in November.A week after i got my results I've noticed what appeared to be a red bump with hair follicles growing out the side of it so thought this was an ingrown hair.I've  seen this on a Friday. On Tuesday it turned into an open blister like sore that was a very bright red that had a tiny crater with a yellowish middle. It stinged a little. The bump with the hair growing out of it was riggt beside this sore  and there was NO hair growing out this sore what so evr. There were hair growing at they very edge of it but  thats it. It also leaked a clear fluid but it wasn't weeping oozing but it was leaking enough that i could dab it with a paper towel. By Saturday it healed but there was no scabbing or crusting what so ever. There is just a pink discoloration that's it. What could this be? Is this a symptom of a herpes outbreak? It was in a strange part of my pubic area more near the scrotum, that area didn't make much contact vwith her. I never seen something like this before but at the same time I've been getting recurring boils lately and  ingrown hairs.  But this was different, it wasn't raised or protracted like most boils abd ingrown hairs are. I tested negative at 6 MONTHS AND A WEEK post exposure. Her ex boyfriend also tested negative and he did not use condoms and thean after him also didn't contract the virus. Should i trust these results? I can't see a doctor at the moment . I am so convinced this is herpes and nothing else.

I don't think so because of the fact that this sore had a flat surface and my boils are usually raised and protracted also they have white puss coming from them  but this wasn't raised and it had clear fluid only.I never seen something like this before until i started having sex with her, however i never had a boil before until i met her also. But at same time i never shaved my pubic area before, ever.

I would believe the antibody test.  I would say that the very short duration of the lesion that you describe does not fit well with  herpes diagnosis.  However, having said all of that, if you get another one of these, I would encourage you to get it swab tested as soon as it shows up to help know for certain that this is not herpes.

The antibody tests for HSV 1 miss about 1 out of 10 cases of HSV 1 infection and since she doesn't know what type of herpes she has, this presents just a little concern for me

You do mention a history of boils but you think this isn't that?
