oral herpes on nipple

So I've been in contact with a guy and we have been considering dating. One night we decided to go back to his place. He had already mentioned he had a cold sore recently. I told him that I had tested negative for both hsv  1 and 2 and hoped to stay clean of both. For that reason we did not kiss. The sore he had had crusted over and he had pulled the scab off earlier in the week. All that was left was the skin blemish that had not fully healed.

We did get into rubbing eachother and he ended up briefly sucking on my nipple and rubbing it a lot. Other than that there was hand to genital contact but no mouth to genital contact as I did not want to spread anything there.

I know hsv 1 to genital transmittion is pretty low. Hopefully more so with the precautions I took. But what about the nipple contact? Am I at risk for something there? I didn't really think about it till later but now it's kinda bothering me.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Doesn't make a difference in my response, no.

The contact was this friday night. He did bite a little bit but I checked the skin and nothing was scratched or broken. The sore had scabbed over and he said he had peeled it off that week. What was still there was the pink bump on the skin where it used to be and where it was still healing. Don't know if that makes any difference but I just wanted to put all the facts out there.

ThanksThanks

How long ago was the contact?

It is possible to transmit herpes from the mouth to the nipple but if he had been scab free during the week, that is less likely for sure.  Also, unless there was biting of the nipple, usually the skin is a bit thicker than genital skin and transmission is less likely with that activity.  Just keep an eye out for an obvious sores on the nipple.  If you get any, have a swab test done for herpes.  And don't react to the tiniest of things, I'm talking something really noticeable, OK?
