Well the past 2 months have seen me have many issues as reported already. I was fairly certain after several std screens and you, my dr and my urologist saying prostatitis that you all were correct. However I had discharge 3 days ago and I was just told I have chlamydia! So before when I thought maybe my gf cheated but lied... Well that's gotta be a fact now. So I'm in shock. Been together over a year. I'm taking antibiotics now for prostatitis (cipro) and diox something for std. My dr now worries that maybe this was herpes and I just had symptoms without OBs or only very minor rash. He said chlamydia wouldn't last 2 months and wouldn't cause these pains. I asked if it could cause prostatitis and he said yes but symptoms would have shown for chlamydia earlier. I thought I had a leaky pipe during this time and it just got mucus like 3 days ago... So maybe i missed it? I'm lost. I got tested (pee test) twice in the past 2 months and negative for anything. Sounds like she just gave it to me. Which doesn't explain the past 2 months. I just tested yesterday for HSV at week 8. Sucks that it takes 4-12 months to know.
I was so stressed that last night I had horrible urethral pain and lots of redness and swelling at the tip. Leg and boxer short pain. Testicle pain. Basically all the stuff from past 2 months. I'll sleep better when I know.

The HSV results do vary over time, so this is nothing to be alarmed or concerned about.
I hope that you get some relief from the prostatitis with a longer course of antibiotics. Sounds uncomfortable!

Well my girl friend confessed to cheating 9 months ago. She went to get tested today for HIV, HSV, etc. I tested yesterday. I find it amazing she has had this stuff all this time and I never got it until now. So scared I got other stuff.
My 8 week test:
HSV 1 - 4.28
HSV 2 - .10
Good news. Now if my gf is telling the truth her test will come tomorrow like mine and I'll just deal with prostatitis and this crap she gave me.
My HSV 1 has never been this high. It's been 1.1 to 1.9 for years. Now 4.5? Could that have something to do with my reaction? Just seems odd. This past 2 months have been a disaster for me.
