Newly hsv2 and hiv scare

I’m sorry i need some help please someone answer.

The other day I engaged in mutual masturbation with a gay man unknown hiv status. I heard that this would be safe or no risk.

I had inserted a dildo and was playing with it. The guy was first stroking himself with right hand then switched to left hand. It was about maybe after minute or two before he touched the suction cup part of the dildo that was already inserted pulling it and out using the right hand that had been exposed to air for about a minute . Now I don’t recall seeing or feeling his hand wet with precum but I’m not sure when he touched the inner parts of my  butt-cheeks playing with the already inserted dildo.

My issue is that I’m confused because I’m reading that I’m at risk of HIV if precum was present on some sites and then on othersites/threads I’m not at risk due to air exposure. I’m even more confused because I have anal fissures and I have Hsv 2 and since there was no penetration from his penis just the use of a dildo it says I’m still at risk.

I tested negative after 12 days at my local planned parenthood and they said I may still be at risk because of my hsv2

I’m beyond paranoid.

Well this is a herpes forum but this was no risk. Even if he had pre-cum in his fingers, that is not the way the virus transfers. Even with anal fissures and HSV2. If you are worried, you can test at 28 days with an RNA test. I am not 100% that is the correct name but from what I understand, this test at 4 weeks would be accurate. You need to relax...this was safe play!

Thank you for the info. I have no idea why the planned parenthood doctor was so dismissive and made it seem that because if gave hsv2 I will get hiv
Sorry typo because I have hsv2 I meant to say
I know that having HSV2 makes one more susceptible to hiv because of the presence of lesions but if you practice safe sex, and this was beyond safe, the risk is the same as anyone else.
