Please help, am begging HSV 2 SCARE ?
Please HELP, I am begging.. I am scared that I might have Hsv 2. I have had a tingling sensation on my left leg (not really on my left side vaginal area, mainly left leg but it does travel down my leg from my left vaginal area). There are so many confusing facts about herpes. My boyfriend is a virgin, i have had relations in the past, years before him. I have been having this tingling sensation for about a month or two to say the least & im scared that it might be hsv 2. I do NOT have any herpe lesions. My boyfriend & i had protected sex & i know for a fact he doesnt have it & due to my situation rn, i atleast thought i didnt or dont have it but i know i had partners in the past & its spread through skin to skin contact which is why im afraid & confused. I thought i had been tested for herpes in april but it was only a swab from my throat so now im freaking out. So now i dont know for sure whether i have or had this. Is it possible to have only 1-2 herpes symptoms such as tingling/genital pain or slight itching & not get any blisters/sores ? Like i said i had this tingling & pain for awhile but no blisters/sores ever showed up. I cant tell if this is anxietygenital focused pain or herpes. Please help.
Yes you can definitely have just those symptoms with no lesions present. Go get a blood test! And if a lesion pops up, go get it swabbed. They don’t always look like the blisters you see online, or that was my case. You need to go get tested ASAP to try to find out what’s going on with you.
Hi, the only way to find out if you have HSV2 is if you go get Tested for it, and get a IGG specific blood test, or even better a swab test, but since you have no lesions that is not an option at the moment.
Each person reacts differently to a herpes infection/outbreak. Maybe you are just having anxiety and feeling these discomforts, or something else, and might not be herpes at all. But to answer your question about possibly having 1-2 symptoms like itching and tingling with no lesions and sores. Yes it is possible as that what I had as my initial outbreak and lasted for 2 months until I started anti vitals. Had burning pain and it would move around my genitalia but never had a lesion. I got tested for herpes and came back positive. I don't mean to scare you, but if you want to really find out go to your doctor and get tested.

Just to be sure, even though two uninfected partners have protected sex, hsv2 can still be trabsmitted because of skin to skin contact ?

No someone would have to actually have the virus to pass it on. If both people don’t have it, they can’t give it to each other because the virus isn’t present.
