Pls evaluate my risk exposure and calm me down a little!

HI all, I am 26 yrs old male and never had herpes before, no cold sore or outbreaks in my life.

This morning I shaved my pubic area, I used a razor blade to shave and I shave very close to the grain so I bled at certain spots. Afterwards I had itchy red bumps at certain areas of my groin.

At night, I went for a massage and was offered specials. One of it was that the CSW licked and kissed all over my body but not my penis. I am worried because she licked and french kissed certain parts of my groin, the parts at the outer region where the pubic hair is supposed to be, not near my penis but at the edge of groin region.

She kissed and licked at areas where the itchy red bumps were at due to my shaving it in the morning. I did not check if she had any sores or outbreaks. I am worried now that this might lead to me having herpes transmitted.

No. It may be a tad easier to penetrate but these type of surface scrapes close very quickly. I would not be concerned as your exposure was minimal at best.

Thanks for your reply. I have another qn. Does the red bumps due to shaving count as open wounds?

While it is possible to get hsv1 this way the odds you did from this exposure are so very slim it doesn't warrant much concern at all.
