Hi, with a person with long time hsv2 or even hsv1 contracting it in another area is close to zero if possible at all. They would be basicly immune. Those that get it in both areas, like oral and genital, contracted it at the same time. So to answer your question, have a blood test now and if its negative or a low positive there is a chance you have it in both areas, but if your blood test show a high value, like over 5, it would be considered a long term infection so you could pretty much rule out that now have it in the genital area as well as you would have adequate antibodies the counter act the spreading of it. The answer is the blood test.
