Possible Herpes

I had protected sex with a sw on tuesday 1/22 and noticed what looks like two pimples which were tingling and itching in my pubic area on friday 1/25.  It's now sunday and they seem to be almost gone but still burn and tingle.  What are my chances of contracting after one protected encounter with a sw?

you would've had obvious lesions by now if this was herpes.

honestly your symptoms you are worried about aren't std related. this is what happens when you contract different upper respiratory viruses. hospitals are packed with patients with same symptoms rightnow!

It is day 22 since my encounter.  After my flu symptoms over the weekend I now have had lower back pain going on 3 days.  How long after flu-like symptoms do lesions generally appear?

So I haven't had any lesions.  My symptoms are extreme fatigue, muscle soreness and spasms, light sensitivity, runny nose and a swollen lymph node in my neck.  This has gone on for 3 days.  I have no sore throat or fever.  Everything I read online points to herpes flu-like symptoms.  Do the lesions typically show up after the flu symptoms.  Thank you

I haven't had any lesions or sores yet.  What are the flu-like symptoms associated with herpes?  Thanks again.

since you weren't seen and had your lesions cultured, nothing you can do at this point but wait and seek out type specific herpes igg blood testing 3 months post encounter.  Muscle twitching after your lesions disappeared isn't likely to be herpes related at all. Your other symptoms are cold/flu symptoms, not the flu like symptoms we talk about with genital herpes infections.

should you get a return of genital symptoms before the 3 month mark, be seen within 48 hours of their appearance for an exam and lesion culture if the provider feels that they could be due to herpes.

Thank You Grace.  Another symptom I have is muscle twitching all over my body but mostly in my legs.  I have no fever.  When I look around online it seems like these are the exact symptoms that occur during a first outbreak.

It's now february 9th and I've had what feels like the flu.  Very rundown, runny nose, a swollen lymph node on my neck nausea and muscle fatigue but still no sores.  Is this just coincidence or should I be worried?

Thanks

I was tested and came up negative for both 1 & 2.  It's now been seven days since the encounter and the pimples are gone but I now have tingling in my testicles that comes and goes but no visible sores.  Things just don't feel right down there.  Am I just being overly paranoid.  Thank you for getting back to me. This stuff is freaking me out
