Possible std?

I made a mistake, I drank too much at a party and had sex with someone I don't know. The sad thing is I was a virgin before this. Luckily there was protection. I was so scared that I might have co reacted an std. 15 days after exposure I tested negative for Chlymidiah, gonoria, syphilis, and hiv. I was seriously nervous about herpes type II. I got tested and the same time, 15 days, results came back negative. No signs or symptoms. It is day 20 after exposure and I'm experiencing a little redness and irritation around my scrotum, inner thigh, and side of my penis. I don't see any bumps or sores. Could it still be herpes? Do I need to get tested again? I have been wiping my genital region with alcohol swabs and lotion. I have also been taking lysine as a precaution every day. Should I stop worrying and stop taking the lysine? What should I do? Am I over thinking it?

I agree with feelingundone, definitely someone you can trust, and please stop with the alcohol on your junk, it's going to do more harm than good, and is probably even causing the irritation.

Oh and stop using alcohol on your genitals! That will do nothing other than cause pain and damage.

Yes you are over thinking this. It was OK to be tested but condom protected sex offers great protection against most all sti. Protection is very effective for bacterial infections. Your odds of contracting herpes is very close to zero. Even if she had it. Congratulations on using protection and you can move forward with confidence you came out of this the same way you went in.
