Precautions during outbreak?

I'm new the hsv2 had it about 6 months I'm currently having a outbreak on both sides of my shaft can you please help with a few questions I have?
1) I can't avoid directly touching a open sore when using the restroom? Can I transfer the virus to my hand?
2) how long should I wash my hands for after touching a sore?
3) is there any faster I can do to help speed up the process ?
Thanks!

They deal with these issues every day and treat patients in confidence. No one knows what happens in the room.

You need to get an accurate diagnosis of your condition. Herpes is much less serious than other things it might be.

Hi, with a recent infection you can have outbreaks on both sides but not with a recurrent outbreak, meaning an older infection. These might not be a herpes outbreak, well at least not one side.
1. hsv2 is contracted by direct genital to genital contact and has to be rubbed in. You can touch it but as a precaution do wash your hands. To get it in another area like the hands, you would have to get it at the same time as the genital. It just depends if your antibody levels are high enough to prevent it. But bottom line hsv2 is considered sexually transmitted as the hands skin is to thick as prefers soft moist areas like the mucus genital area.

2.wash as normal
3. what process?
