Questions on HSV

I just have several questions regarding HSV2 specifically. I've read that symptoms of a HSV infection could be a sore throat/flu-like symptoms/fever. Approximately over a month ago I had a sexual encounter where I gave and recieved unprotected oral and protected vaginal. Two days later, I came down with a pretty bad case of strep throat. It hurt to swallow and I had a really bad fever where I didn't even want to leave my bed. It was not accompanied by any itching or lesions. The strep throat was confirmed through a rapid test and culture. Would my strep throat have any correlation with HSV2? My anxiety drives me to worry about HSV2 so sorry if I'm constantly bugging you guys on this forum. I haven't really had no other symptoms and neither has my sexual partner. I think my genitals might tingle but that might be anxiety induced. My other question is if I get a blood test for HSV2 at like maybe the 6/7/8 week mark, would it be a good indicator that I probably don't have HSV2 and just drop this whole mess? I do have HSV1 so I'm not sure if it would come into play with the blood test that I plan to take and cause a false negative. Thanks.

Sore throat is not a symptom. Either is strep throat. Nothing you describe says hsv. 8 weeks is a good indicator and twelve weeks is conclusive. Again your symptoms do not suggest hsv

Hsv1 or hsv2? Oral or genital infection? How were you diagnosed? If by blood test was is igg or igm testing and what was your numeric value?
If you have a genital infection then no, you child is safe from your infection. It's called sexually transmitted for a reason. If it's oral hsv1 then yes you can spread it through kissing your child.
