Quick question herpes or rash

4 years ago I had protected sex with a prostitute in cancun Mexico I know dumb move really regret but my question is this I have suddenly developed a rash in my groin in between my testicles and thigh looks like a bad case of chub rub it is red and was itchy Till put lotrimin and gold bond on it it has some bumps small on my testicle the bottom this popped up after swimming for a week in fla and maybe not dryin off the crotch area very good idk has some white places on the outside of my skin just wondering if you guys can shed some light so pls give some advice been using lotrimin for three days maybe seems a little better but still there thanks in advance

your symptoms sound classic for jock itch but definitely follow up on it with your provider since you were recently in the ocean.   Recently being on antibiotics also puts you at higher risk for fungal infections as well as staying in wet bathing suits in the heat too.

Nah haven't seen the doc seen him before I went to fla bout prostatitis prostate was swollen took antibiotics and when j got home from the beach it's red was itchy some bumps on the bottom side of my testicle

This encounter was 4 years ago and the rash only now surfaced?  It sounds kinda fungal like jock itch.  Have you seen a physician?  Maybe try some Nystatin.  That has always helped me for rashes in between scrotum and thighs.  Lots of sweatiness in that area and chaffing.  It wouldn't appear to be herpetic based on your observations but you can always get a swab after you tried the ointments.  Never hurts...well...except in the urethra, but we won't talk about that.

Also it hurts some when I push in on the area testicles have been sore but been cleared of gonorrhea and clymidia
