Rash on Inner Thighs/Under Scrotum

Hello,

I have had a rash on my inner thighs/groin area and under my scrotum for 10 days. The rash is reddish pink and I have not seen any blisters. It does not hurt at all and only itches from time to time. The last time I itched it bled a little. I received unprotected oral over 4 months ago and have been tested negative after 11 weeks post encounter. Could this be herpes?

Could be just a mild irritation. I get them working in the summer heat from time to time. Keep the area dry if you can. The best thing to do is visit a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis.

Thanks for the above advice. I tried antifungal clotrimazole for a couple days and it doesn't seem to be helping. Any other ideas? The only current symptom related is just the skin redness with occasional itching

Agree. Try some antifungal cream. This area os very susceptible to heat and friction, causing sll sorts of issues. If you are that concerned see a dermatologist.

It's likely chafing or possibly jock itch

Surely doesn't sound hsv related. Bothing fits. The symptoms and time frames don't add up. I would get an antifungal cream and see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis. That being said i am very confident this is not hsv

It's actually worth mentioning that there are rashes on both sides of the groin/under scrotum. So essentially two rashes
