Recieved unprotected oral sex and now have symptoms

Hi im new to these boards and im just trying to get some answers online..im a 20 year old male and think i have herpes..heres my story..
A week and a half ago i recieved unprotected oral sex from a girl that has had alot of sex partners, i was in the moment and forgot about the condom. But anyways a week after that day i noticed a sore close to the tip of my penis, it was red like a pimple but a few hours later it goes away and just looks like a rash and was a little swollen. I kind of ignored it and then the next day the skin there looks normal again, maby just a little odd looking..but nothing i can really notice, but during that night i had intense burning feeling there and i just kind of slept it off and woke up with nothing..which was this morning..and now i have a little burning feeling from time to time, not as intense as yesterdays tho. Im wondering if this could be herpes and what my chances are having it if she had no sores present and i already have cold sores on my lips, does that provide a little immunity of contracting down there? and can herpe symptoms appear and go away that fast? if not herpes what else can it be? it was a week after oral sex i had these feelings so the time period seems about right..

you won't display herpes symptoms that quickly from a newly acquired infection. also they won't go away in a few hours.

best thing to do is to follow up on this with your provider for more accurate answers.
