I was exposed to genitial herpes about 6 mths ago. I have had no type of symptons, break outs etc.. My partner told me he was diagnosed with it then I went to get tested. I did the blood test my provider told me my test results were negative then. I went back after 3 mths of exposure and still haven;t had a breakout or any thing and she told me the results were positive. but did not test me again. any advise.
I can best help you if you post your actual test results - e.g. hsv1 igg 5.3 and hsv2 igg 3.2 or whatever they are. call the clinic and ask them to read these results to you to post here. thanks!

Hi and welcome. You should post this in the herpes forum as is specific. That is odd that she said neg before and pos now without retesting, Did you asked how she came to this conclusion? I surely would.
