Hello my name is juan and i really need some professional help. It been more than a year since i started to feel burning irritation on my lip, sometime i need to put saliva on my lip because it is dry and when i touch it it is like losing the skin. Also i feel something like electricity on one side of lips. I want to go to the doctor but i am scared to see the results. I don't want to see that i have a std like herpes. But i see that herpes only last just up to a month i believe!. My girlfriend is coming next week from dominican republic and i don't know what to do. Immigration did some blood test to her and they allow her to come over here so i guess its nothing wrong.

I want to remind you that this thing being going on more than a year. Please tell what could be?

I haven't try any medicine yet! Maybe i should consult to a demartologist now that i know how herpes look like and a person having these symptom for one year and 5 months. Terry i seen photos over the internet and herpes and syphillis look so different.

Thanks for the advice and i will tell you what are the results, maybe you have change my life.You may ask why? but you convinced me to go to a doctor maybe it is something that i could get rid of it easily.

I wish I could tell you more!  It just isn't possible over the internet to diagnose someone.
If you have itching on the testicles or irritation, have you ever tried medicine to treat a fungal infection?  It is available over the counter and something you could try very easily without a prescription.

Honesty its been like 1 year and 5 months and now im tired of it. I want to go to the doctor to finish this nightmare but im scared. I haven't seen any blisters on my mouth thanks god! But almost every day i feel irritation on my testicles and no blisters but some time it is to obvious that i have something bad because mouth and rectum but everyday its weard. I know that it is hard to tell but i really need some help. Please tell me terry what to do and what could it be?

I would be very surprised if herpes was ongoing for a whole year.  However, many people get cold sores on their lip - have you seen them?  They look like blisters that break and make some sores and then the sores make scabs.  Is that like something that you have?  It doesn't sound like that from you description.  

It is very common for people to have oral herpes and it is most often not sexually transmitted.  

But your symptoms sound more like chapped skin of the lips, though it is very difficult to know over the internet from your description.  

I doubt that any immigration authorities would test her for herpes, honestly.  They might, however, have checked for other STDs.
