Self diagnosis wrong?

I would just like to thank the doctors for all the work and advice they do.

Long story short, about a month ago I was diagnosed with genital warts. I started taking condylox and it hurt. Since putting it on, I have been paranoid that I also have genital herpes too. The reason being that two months ago I was with a very risky partner. We didn't have sex, but she rubbed her genitals all over mine before we had sex with a condom. I have been nervous about that encounter since and since being diagnosed with genital warts I am constantly looking at my penis to see if there is another wart or anything else.

I just took a blood test to see if I have genital herpes and will be getting the results tomorrow. I just don't know if I have genital warts or it is side effects from the condylox. I have been obsessing on the internet with pictures and lists of symptoms. I have pain downtown and sores and blood. It doesn't hurt to pee though and it has been about 2 months since the encounter.

Does it sound like I have genital herpes? If the blood tests come back negative, should I trust that I am ok or does somebody need to look at my penis?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This isn't the doctor's forum, you have to pay to post there.

My knowledge is limited to herpes, and you have genital wart issues, so can't help you there.

Bleeding is not associated with herpes. All in all brief touching of genitals one time (and you don't know her herpes status) is a very low risk for herpes transmission. As well, symptoms would appear 2-20 days after transmission.

Sounds anxiety/obsessive driven, which you admit to. If you are symptomatic, see your doctor to see if it's related to your genital wart issue.

Thank you in advance.
