Should I be concerned?

Well for a while now I've been a little concerned with my situation at hand. I'm not entirely sure I possess GH (Genital Herpes), but I'm not sure that I don't. Every so often I seem to get one red bump that is about .25-.5 in in size around genital region. As I normally would, I pop it thinking it is only a zit. It pusses as if you had popped a zit upon your face and if you push to hard bleeds like a regular zit. I'm just concerned in that fact of the size and that it is a very vibrant red color. I'm just wondering if I should be concerned with this matter I have, or if it is nothing and it seems to just be an abnormally large zit in a very bizarre place? Thank you for your time.

Good Point....Its just interesting because me and my wife have been trying for a few weeks to start a family and she had gotten blood drawn and tested for anything and yet didn't have herpes?

You have suspicious symptoms so why not get at least a type specific herpes igg blood test to rule it out so you don't have to keep thinking herpes?

And well the thing is, its never more than one. Its just one thing. It has never been multiply ones at one time. It occurs I'd say every 1-3months? Approximately. And Even when I've let it be, it doesn't seem to burst open or anything of the means that I've heard of happening with GH. I guess I'm not real sure, but I can try what you said out as well.

It could be a zit, but you could easily get it cultured and get a type specific IgG blood test to find out if you have herpes.

The next time you get this, don't pop it, and see your doctor.
