Should I retest?

Hi Terri, I have read through a lot of your posts searching for someone who has a situation like mine but I can't so here goes. I am a 20 year old white female in college.

In December and I began another exclusive sexual relationship with a guy. He told me he has been tested and had only four partners in his life ( me being five). I believe him (I know I should have learned) We used condoms in the beginning but since we were exclusive and we both had been tested they fell to the way side. There was a two week period in april where we didn't have sex. I ended up meeting a guy one weekend. He performed oral sex on me and I on him unprotected. I also dry humped or grinded  as you say with my underwear on. It was a thong and he would oddly take the sides of the thong and pull it up, making it really uncomfortable, almost pinching me in my vaginal area. I noticed after I went home the next day my eye looked red and had gook so I assumed pink eye. I was prescribed eye drops by my rotor as student health. The reason I bring this up is because I think one time putting my drops in, i masturbated right afterwards and touched myself with it on it. RAN OUT OF SPACE CHECK NEXT POST

It sounds like you had a little blood blister, perhaps from friction, and you popped it and picked and it and really irritated it (bad girl).  then you applied a bunch of different things to it and now it is difficult to say what's going on except that it is gone.  I would count on the negative at 14 weeks to rule out the possibility of herpes, yes.

Your description of the initial presentation of the bump doesn't sound anything like herpes, so I think you can put this aside now.

Fast forward to about two to three days later I was looking in the mirror about to go for a run when I decide to look down there as i occasionally check. to my shock I saw a reddish/purplish bump right by the entrance to my vagina. I panicked! I tried to get a good look...it could have been a blister..it could of been a cyst but I have no idea because like a fool I took my nail to the side of it. It was firm and it took a lot of effort and force for me to pop that thing. btw this did not hurt one bit. not even a little. No burning or anything When I popped it, some clearish skin came off. It then bled ALOT. It was running down my whole vulva. I had to take a tissue to it to get it to stop! The blood was slightly darker red might I add. I think I had a breakdown. After a few minutes of getting myself together I check it. It was just a large purple spot. No sore, no nothing. Just a purple area. I immediately put neosporin on it. I decided to shower. I am a picker and I kept picking and picking before I got in that shower and pretty much peeled off some purplish skin and an oval shape "sore" appeared. again this did not hurt at all! I showered and urinated. It didn't burn nor sting. As the day went the side of my vulva swelled as i continued to put neosporin on it. There was still not buying or anything but I started to look at this thing and strench and pull at my skin every hour basically. I went to the doctor the next day. I told her everything. She looked at it and said it just look like I scratched myself w=and took skin off...she said it didn't look like a sore and if it were herpes it would burn. Her opinion was it was a cyst and advised me to stop putting neosporin on my vulva. I relaxed but not for long. I kept examining myself and putting neospoin on regardless to her advice and it just got worse and worse. Now it was starting to burn when I peed and when i showered. I am assuming from irritation and using the ointment on it. I thought it was an allergic reaction so i put hycrocrotisnone cream on it. hurt like hell. After three days of this I decide to stop all topical ointments and i actually put greek yofurt on it. Wihtin two days all the irritation subsided and swelling. The piece of skin or "sore" got smaller and smaller until it dissapeard. I decided that summer, three months after my symptoms I would get an gig blood test.

When July 25 hit it would have been 14 week post symptoms, and 16 weeks post possible exposure from the guy iw as sleeping with bed of the two week period of no sex before the symptoms. I got an herpes 1 and 2 IGG at lab corp. to my relief they were negative. I took these results and eventually got over my anxiety about the episode. I summed it up to a cyst or something else.

Just over the past couple of weeks I met someone.. We engaged in sex once but we have been holding off realizing we want to get to know each other better ( we used protection) but now I am having major anxiety that my bump could of in fact been HSV! From all this information I plead that you tell me if i should retest even though I tested negative at 14 weeks post onset gf symptoms?
