Skin condition or!

Skin condition or?
It started a few years ago on my penis a thick scab appeared, and persisted for a few months, then was replaced by are large light grey scab that underneath was red and damp looking, this eventually healed. after one unprotected encounter a few years later, the day after 2 red patches appeared on my penis, which was told to me to be thrush. This went away after using hydrocortisones, again a few months later this started appearing in different places around the tip of my penis, this time with light scabbing which then improves with HC cream, recently the very first scab has reaappeared, only much much smaller. I also sometimes get a very itchy red patch on the underside of my penis I have been told this is 3 things now, and becuase of this I'm wondering if it's herpes? as it always comes back, and quite often
If anyone can give me some info that would be excellent

I'm only going on so much for education, so thanks.
but what you say is they do always have fluid, but it may not be noticed. and regardless of the variables does HC do anything to herpes or not?
this will be my last post thankyou :)

no, you don't always see them at the stage where there is fluid in them or they have a blister like appearance.

yes herpes can reoccur this often.

herpes will get better with or without treatment.

nothing you can do at home to diagnose herpes at this point. get the blood testing when you have a chance and go from there.

That's probaly a good idea
Thankyou for you answers so far but I have a few more questions if that's okay
Would herpes reoccur this often?
Would herpes improve with hydrocortisone creams?
and until I can get to a clinic is there any symptoms I can use to rule out herpes?

since you have a penis, probably want to change your icon to male so it's less confusing when we answer your posts :)

At this point you need to get a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your status is. this could be many things from herpes to a skin condition to an improperly treated bacterial infection that you just can't get rid of. follow up properly on this to get better answers.
