Sore throat herpes?

I've had a quick encounter feb 11th with a guy who gets around a lot, we had sex for about a minute he really didn't penetrate his penis much... We tongue kissed like crazy though. I've been paranoid about herpes and have not yet had any symptoms, my question is how long will it take to show if I have herpes? I'm so afraid. I haven't had any symptoms only a mild sore throat... No sores anywhere just a lil pain when I swallow

1. Is it possible I have herpes without any symptoms or sores?
2. Is this sore throat a sign of the herpes? It's day two with the sore throat, no fever, no cold, no runny nose.

I know hsv-1 is common this is why I do worry about kissing people but without jinxing myself I've never had a cold sore only canker sores in my mouth but those come once every year. The guy I kissed was on feb 11 which was when we french kissed then after that it was march 3 and since then I have not had any sores or symptoms. Also the sore throat I had went away, it was from this mon until last night today I have no pain at all.

I will get tested tomorrow but for herpes I will have to wait right?

Thank you much for answering my question!

hsv1 is the only real risk through kissing as far as a std. statistically 1 out of every 2-3 people you know has hsv1. it's incredibly common. do you usually worry about oral herpes when you kiss someone? have you ever been tested to know your own status ? can you recall ever having had an obvious cold sore?

we recommend protected sexual contact because it works!  since you had unprotected sex though, it's in your best interest to fully cover your bases with full std testing. you can get tested for trich, gonorrhea and chlamydia  anytime after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.

have you had your gradasil shots yet?

No we did not use condom, very stupid but it wasn't a full on intercourse it was literally 2 min max, I'm worried about the kissing which was the most we did
