Hi she would be more at risk then you for std,s like gono and chlamydia. To contact them from her through oral, the back of your throat would need to come in contact with the inside of her vagina which is not possible.
With herpes, the outbreak 2 days is too short of a time to have an outbreak and first time outbreak would have been on your lips.
And if she did not have any lip sores at the time, kissing would be very low risk for herpes.
Thanks so much Life360. Are there normal illnesses that would produce a 4-5 day sore throat, aches, and fatigue? Those were my most prominent symptoms. I wouldn't have thought they had a relation to this incident except that these symptoms came on 2-3 days after this encounter. I haven't had any blisters on genitals or lips. I had one small canker sore on the inside of my lip, but this was clearly inside my mouth.
Thanks again to you and others for your help and time.
Symptoms for std donot happen 2 even 3 days for things like gono and chlamydia but take at least a week. Sore throat, aches and fatigue are not associated with any std but a fever and body aches would be associated with a recent infection for herpes.
Thanks again. One last question: could I have experienced light fever, fatigue, aches from a herpes infection after only 3 days? The incident happened on a sunday morning (very late saturday night) and I came down with these symptoms by Tuesday afternoon the following week. The most prominent symptom was definitely a sore throat, maybe a light fever, and no sinus issues.
symptoms can appear at 3 days as a response to our bodies building antibodies. But like i said if she did not have any sores at the time this risk is quite low. Hsv2 sheds more often than hsv1 but from a one time affair the odds you contracted it are really quite low. I only mention this as an option.
Life360, Thanks so much for your answer and your time.
