Condoms reduce transmission by 30-50%. But the lesion we are worried about was on your mouth, right and you were the giver of oral sex to her, right? Without any barriers? Three weeks is not enough time to wait after possible infection to get a test, you need about 4 months for greatest accuracy.

I got some test results back today, it showed all negative chlymedia, gonorrea, oral/genital hsv, hiv but this is just 1 week test. I am going to get another next week so 3 weeks has passed then. My health care provider saw it but not with pus in it, he just saw that it was maybe a break out, not sure if it was herpes or not. I've never had a cold sore before. 10 day for the acyclovir.
I did use condoms for the penetration though, but there is a chance that may genitals may have touched an area but her clitoris that may have had a herpes infection if that is what she has. She did not give oral to me either.
When you had the pus filled sores on your lip, did you have a health care provider evaluate it? The sore is somewhat concerning, and if it ever comes back I would suggest that you get it swab tested right away. Have you ever in your life had a cold sore on your lip before?
Who long is your prescription for the acyclovir? I would suggest that if you ever want to get tested for herpes by antibody test, that you stop taking it. If you get any kind of genital or oral lesion, go in immediately to have the location swab tested.
Did you use condoms for any of the contacts that you had?
