Preface: ~3 months ago I received unprotected oral sex from a questionable woman whom I didn't know. What a mistake.
Initial symptoms (first week): I felt an itch on the tip of my circumcised penis. A sporadic itch all over the body that dissipated after two weeks. No blisters or lesions on my body. No noticeable lymphatic response, sore throat, or fever. Slight feeling of numbness in my rectal sphincter.
Initial tests (~2 weeks after potential exposure): Visual inspection, HSV 1/2, chlamydia, gonorrhea -- All results are negative
Subsequent tests (2 months after potential exposure): Visual inspection, HSV 1/2, chlamydia, gonorrhea -- All results negative
Current symptoms (~3 months after): Glans looks scaly and "nodular" (nothing like the crazy google images). White pearly papules have increased in number on the shaft of my penis and have now spread to under the glans, an area which has never had them. Tingling and slight stinging sensation along the body and head of the penis sporadically throughout the day. The periphery of my urethral exit is darkened-looking until I urinate (I am not sure if this one's just subjective bias).
Summary
Discussing this with nurses and doctors is completely humiliating and frustrating. I am isolating myself from my family because I don't know what I have and if I am contagious or not. I feel quite alone and scared. Trying to do any legitimate research on the internet either comes up short on facts or terrifies me.
Questions:
1. What could precipitate an itch on the tip of the penis which becomes a stinging/tingling sensation on the body of the penis?
2. Why is my glans looking nodular and abnormal?
3. Why the sudden growth of new pearly papules?
4. Are there any STD specialists whom I can turn to?
Thanks so much,
Frustrated, Terrified, and Alone
