Strip club relapse

I went to the strip club 8 hrs ago. A stripper gave me a quick wet kiss on the neck. It could have been her lip gloss or saliva. What is my risk for hsv? I've been kissed on the neck before and never got anything.

There is no risk here. The skin on your neck is too thick for the virus to penetrate.

Also, a stripper is no more likely to have oral hsv1 than anyone else is. 67% of people under 50 have it globally. That includes dancers, strippers, and sex workers, as well as "regular people".

You might already have it, as 90% of those with oral hsv1 never get symptoms.

I wouldn't worry about this at all. I would, however, consider some kind of therapy if you can't stay away from strip clubs.
