Swollen lymph Nodes Herpes?
I was just diagnosed with HSV 2 >1.30...my question is does this cause swollen lymph nodes?
What should i do now should i be on meds is this, can i die from this. Please any explanation helps.

So first things first.
Your result for hsv2 is super low, and you really should get that confirmed. Anything under a 3.5 has potential to be a false positive. What prompted you to test? Did you have symptoms?
How long after the encounter did you test?
Second, if you do have herpes, you will not die from it. It's mostly a minor nuisance.
Third, there is no way for a doctor to tell who will have frequent outbreaks and who won't. Your test result can't predict that.
Fourth, if you get genital herpes from oral sex, you would then have genital herpes type 1. The number indicates the strain of the virus, not the location. If you have hsv1, it is hsv1 no matter where you have it.
So I don't know if you have herpes or not. You likely need more blood tests, and I need more info. :)

Many Many thank yous to you for responding as I have very very little knowledge about any of this.
To Answer your questions:

I did an STD test just to ensure I did not have any serious ailments after a brief encounter with a guy that tried not to use a condom. He inserted his penis for about 5 minutes total dumb of me though not to check.
I have not had any symptoms I don't.To be honest, I would not know what the symptoms would be. I have had a mild fever which I no longer have some diarrhea which I no longer have. Minor throat irritation. But this is the one that makes me think its something because I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Would you be able to tell me what the normal symptoms are?

My exposure was on May 5th, I tested on June 6th.
We did have oral sex receiving and giving
Any information you can give me is very helpful as I am going almost nuts regarding all of these test
They tested for all the STDS all were negative except this one.

Im pretty sure you just got herpes, and you certainly wont die from it. Don't worry its actually pretty common and easily manageable!

swollen lymph node are a symptom. Yes how were you exposed to herpes? And the doctor who diagnosed you would certainly be able to explain to everything about it

How was I exposed I'm assuming through oral or vaginal I had a 1 - 2 unprotected encounter but I was getting a lot of unprotected oral sex. Never knew you could catch Herpes from oral sex.
My Doctor shrugged off as no big deal she did not prescribe any meds at all and said I probably won't even have any outbreaks. but thtas it.
CORRECTION: "I had 1 - 2 minute unprotected sexual encounter"
Well make sure to get tested for all stds since it was unprotected but doesnt sound like your herpes situation is too bad to me, especially with your doctors reaction. Hope this help! Im no profesionnal just a fellow anxious guy
Thanks, Omar595 I have already done that and everything was negative. I do appreciate any advice I can get regarding this matter are you awaiting results as well?
