Chances of getting herpes from receiving unprotected oral sex

I received unprotected oral sex 26 days ago it only lasted a minute or two at most. The guy i met up with did not have visible sores on mouth. So I wanted to know my chances of having hsv1 genitially and how soon I should get a blood test? Some sites say wait 4-6 weeks and this will most likely be accurate ... any advice would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

You can. I wouldn't give it another thought. Move forward and have a wonderful holiday season.

I understand. Hsv1 when newly acquired on the genitals (meaning no other hsv is in the body like an!《hsv1 oral infection) will usually have a very noticeable and harsh primary outbreak.
Again your odds were so very small it doesn't warrant much concern

12 weeks is really the accurate testing window. That being said if I were you I wouldn't test at all. The odds are very slim, very.
If you didn't get a primary outbreak 3-10 days after encounter then I again wouldn't test.

Thank you for your quick response! It has eased my mind . There is so much information and I am sure misinformation on the web it's daunting. I just want to make sure that I will not pass anything along to my longtime boy friend . Made a stupid mistake
