Symptoms

I have an itch on upper groin right below my stomach where my pubic hair is. I had an protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex (she gave me a blow job and) 2 and a half weeks ago. Is this a symptom of herpes? I dun feel and bumps although the upper groin is slightly red. I havent had headaches or fever although i had cold a week ago. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Its possible, but from your descriptions it doesn't fit at all.

If this is really making you lose sleep, you could see a dermatologist to see what it is. But again, STD symptoms do not just come and go in a few hours.

If you really did have symptoms of any STD. It would be consistent.

You can certainly get bumps on your pubic hair area that are not STDs. Most common would be infected hair follicles, boils, Sebaceous related pimples.

But regardless, you had an itch for a hour, and then it went away. This is just skin irritation. And even if it swells, but it goes away in a few hours, that is just skin irritation/allergy.

I gained a beer belly over the year and my pants are a little tight so maybe due to the pressure the itch was there. The itch was only for an hour or so and once i loosened the belt it went off. At the moment, there is no swelling or bumps yet.. From what i heard, you dont get the the bumps on the pubic hair area. Is that true?

If it is just itching, it could just be some type of irritation or dermatitis. Yes its possible to get it on your groin region.
