Terri

Hi Terri
I don't know if you still remember me or not.  But I waited approximately 3.5 months for my HSV test.  I had a blood drawn test and it was told that it could take up to 18 days to get the results back (I thought that was really strange).  I've got a few more days of waiting ahead of me, but i will be coming back to report on the results of the test.
Thanks
Harj

WHen once tests for HSV, do they only test for one of the two or they test for type 1 and type 2? Then tell you which, if any, you've tested positive for?

Hi Terri and Grace,

just needed some confirmation on my results for HSV II.   I took 3 Herpes Select Test and all came back negative:

1 month - 0.16

6 month - 0.15

9 month - 0.04

i know i should trust my results, but how reliable and confident is the test? Keep reading on the internet about false negatives happening, but is this test a good test.  Should i still consider getting confirmatory test?   Thanks in advance.
