Tingling in feet and maybe face

I am a male and 11 days ago I had unprotected sex and gave unprotected oral to a female partner. I have shown zero signs of herpes, including no sores, itching or pain until today. Today I noticed that my feet would feel as though they were numb and seem to fall under the category of "tingling" associated with genital herpes. I believe this tingling may also be occurring in my face near my lips. I have been under an extreme amount of stress since the sexual encounter however I am absolutely positive my feet are tingling and my mind is not playing tricks on me. I was tested for herpes before this recent sexual encounter and it came back negative so I know I was herpes free before this.
1. Is this tingling most likely linked to herpes?
2. If so, does it suggest a breakout will be coming soon? If so, how soon?
3. If it is in fact tingling in my face as well, is it likely I will have a breakout on my face as well as my genitals?

I have never been so scared of anything in my life. Any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

And I just want to say I am sorry for all the pain you had to go through with this experience. Did you ever get any resolution.

They took a culture from one of the oral sores and I go in on Saturday to see the results. The dr does not believe it is herpes related however. I asked about it looking like symptoms of HIV and she likewise said no. It seems to me like all of these things are way too large of a coincidence to not be SOMETHING but what do I know.

Im just over analyzing everything at the moment.

I looked on the female who I had intercourse with twitter page today and she has these depressing tweets about being emotional and that "we were born to die" idk maybe just lyrics or something.

She said shes 10000% positive she doesn't have herpes but idk how she could be so sure because she had sex with another person within 3 months of having sex with me.. She told me "congratulations that I didn't get an STD from her and now never to mention the word STD or herpes to her ever again" yet she wouldn't even tell me what she was tested for even though I was trying to be as nice and polite as possible, just wanted to know for my own sanity and safety and for the future of those I have sexual relations with.

Just told me everything and to leave her alone and that she has her own problems and that she was never worried and what not but thats so crazy to me, how can she not be the least bit concerned about contracting diseases from others?!?

She clearly wasn't worried about me cause she knew that I have only had 1 previous partner. Real low-life this girl if she did this to me knowing she has had symptoms or had an STI/STD

It'd be pretty messed up if she told me not to wear a condom knowing she had something and pretty sure she could get in trouble for that if she did but its my own fault for being so naive and believing this immature girl.

Maybe I'm just a dumb worried teenager but Im convinced there's something wrong with me cause I just don't feel the same since after this encounter.

Just wish all of this would stop and I would have some closure already. Just have to remain faithful and positive or just discover the equation to manipulate time...anyway, ill be keeping everyone updated on my thread in the future.

Hope the best for everyone and that all is well.

I would like to hope so I sincerely do.

My red dot/slight bump didnt itch/hurt/burst either.

I just pray to God I do not have HIV. I don't think I'm thinking straight. I would consider myself lucky to have anything else at this point as sad as that is. I'm trying to remain positive and worry free but its hard when I know my body hasn't felt right for a month now since the day after the encounter.

This waiting 3 months is eating me up.

Ill be praying for us! Hope all turns out for the best for everyone. Wish the trillions of dollars wasted on military/defense/war in this world could be used to the benefit and advancement of the medical industry, we would probably haves cures for nearly all ailments by now. God bless you all.

Fleetwood: I was more referring to you as a doctor of therapy for helping me out so often. But did you mean that "in some cases this DOES occur?" If so, do they have similar symptoms in that it is not a raised bump (more a marking), doesn't bleed and peels away without itching or hurting?

Only human: I have come to learn that that tingling feeling can oftentimes be attributed to stress and anxiety which both of us are going through right now. I would guess that your stomach and headache could be of the same cause.

I should add that they were not bumps, they did not burst and they did not hurt or itch. Thanks.

I had that exact same red dot on the underneath of my shaft and it looked to be peeling when i streched out my skin around the area encircling the small red bump which dissapeared in 2-3 days time.

I have had the same strange tingles in my legs/feet and arms particularly a slight stinging around the armpits and also around my pelvic region which is more like another slight stinging/warm feeling. And from time to time a bubbling sensation near my rectum and discomfort in my penis/testes as well as above it and mild pains by my ribs on the sides of my abdomen and lower abdomen feels weird as well. Also my pee looks to have a slight greenish tint to it but no discharge

I am starting to get slight headaches around my forehead. I woke up this morning and felt as if it was gone for the first time in a month after a horrible night of tossing and turning in bed with sensations throughout the whole body, but soon returned on my commute to school and during the day.

I hope we can find out what this is I really do it is starting to drive me crazy.

No docs on this board! Just the college of life.

You had sex with the same or a different female? You don't really need a lecture about mutual testing before sex from me... Do you?

It doesn't suggest classic herpes, but in some cases this doesn't occur. It is not 80% though! that's the number who don't know what they have is herpes.

As to be expected, I am back. So it has been 16 days and still no largely noticeable signs of herpes. However, this past Friday I noticed a red dot the size of a pencil eraser on the shaft of my penis. I showed the doctor in which he said it didn't look like herpes but that if it continues to grow it may be a genital wart. In the last couple days that dot has peeled over and left a similar dot that looks only shinier. I have since noticed an identical happening elsewhere on my penis shaft, totaling to two of these marks. Though the doctor said he does not believe it is herpes and does not seem to fit the usual description it worries me that these could be the 'signs' that 80% of people who have herpes overlook as something else.

I did have sex this past Tuesday and Sunday if that makes a difference in your analysis.

Thanks again Doc.

All over body tingling would not be a sign of genital herpes. Some specific tingling relating to the sacral nerve system as well as some inferred down the leg to soles of your feet, perhaps. But arms and and rest of body, not really.

Red pigmentations on penis, often always there. The penis as it ages will get more veins, wrinkles, color variances and so on.

Your are letting stress get the better of yourself here. Try self whispering that you don't have herpes, you'd have had sores by now and just relax. Lie on the bed and just switch of every muscle in your body one by one. Pay particular attention to the pelvis area, are you holding your penis in tight? Focus on hanging it low!

Hi so the tingling has come back and it is basically throughout my entire body. Some other things that seem unusual to me are:
1. Whitish tongue with swollen taste buds
2. Red pigmentations on head of my penis when I have an erection
3. The tingling can be felt near my genitals now at times but certainly not as much as my arms and legs.

I went and saw a doctor today who said none of these things should be a cause for concern however he did not seem especially knowledgeable on the issue and seemed almost annoyed by my questions.

If I could get your guys' opinions once again it would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

I have not noticed any 'tingling' today along with no breakouts which would make me believe they were not linked to a syndrome of herpes. I certainly do not believe I'm 'out of the woods' but  beginning to be more confident that they are unrelated. I cannot thank you enough for your support as you have eased my mind through this process. Fleetwood, you are a wonderful person for taking the time to counsel people through these difficult times. Thank you for your understanding. May god bless you for your understanding and willingness to help.

They would be two symptoms more clearly not associated with a herpes infection.

Ask away, we will help all we can.

I do believe, but really I can't do more than that online, that the tingling is not herpes related and is therefore caused by something else.

You hence have no symptoms or combination that would makes herpes an elevated concern, no.

The testing is strongly recommended. You may discover that you have an oral HSV1 infection from your youth for example.
