Unsure about symptoms

I was with a guy 8 days ago, the next day (thursday) I started feeling itching and burning. Thought it was a yeast infection . By Sunday I couldn't stand it and went to the ER. Treated me for yeast, was still itching and burning Monday and went to urgent care, still said it was yeast. I went to my gyno Wednesday and she said everything looked fine. She said I would have lesions with the itching and burning but I don't have any. I was tested negative for trich and BV. Is this herpes or just my imagination running wild ?

Your gynecologist is correct. You would've had lesions or papercut type lesions. To have symptoms the next day is to soon. Most happen 3-10 days later. 4-7 is the sweet spot. This doesn't suggest hsv.

Thank you for answering. I was very unsure, I was checked 3 times in the past 8 days because I am freaking out. I have never had vaginal itching this bad, but I think it is all in my head now and I can't get it out.
