Various symptoms of herpes?

I am a 26 yr old male and I slept with a woman, using a condom for vaginal and oral sex. However, she took off the condom at the end and used her hand. This was 24 days ago.
The very next morning, 6 hours later, I felt itching in my groin and a sense of fatigue and uneasiness. I rarely get sick [once in 12 years, strep throat]. I have a strong immune system, probably due to biting my nails/playing in dirt during my childhood. The "feeling" was very similar to having a virus like strep throat except I didn't feel weak/dizzy etc. The general itching could be felt about 60% of the time, and rarely I felt a tingle/itch at the very tip of my penis (5-10 times per day).
The irritation was quite odd, as I felt it all around the genital area, sometimes around the buttocks and down one leg. It was like my nervous system was under attack.

On day #4, I noticed three red spots appear on my penis, one on the head, two right below the head. However, these had no pain/irritation, and they disappeared by the next morning!
On day #8 I had a red ring maybe 10mm in size all around the bottom section of the head of my penis. This again disappeared the very next morning!
On day #13 I had a red ring again! This one was maybe a few millimetres in size, and appeared halfway down the shaft of my penis! Very weird I know...
On day #21 I finally had what looked the most dangerous.. 5 bright red spots (1 on the head), and they were located in the same region as my original red spots. Each was bright red, with a very tiny bump at the centre... However, they had again disappeared by the next morning. I should note that the bumps were red, and were marginally sore when touching/pulling back the foreskin (scale 1/10). All this time, I've had no discharge, no pain in the abdomen, no swelling of testes/head, no burning during urination, etc.. Not that I can tell at least.

I should note that all this time I was having unprotected sex with a previous partner (assume she has no STDs, cause she doesn't), so the redness was likely triggered by passing a fungal or viral infection back and forth.. Shameful I know, but I didn't believe it was possible I had an STD. And that would mean everytime you sleep with someone using a condom... you'd have to wait to get tested before sleeping with a previous partner. Dangerous stuff, but that goes into the lessons learned section I guess. She's given me oral, and vice versa, so I could have an oral STD now.

So on to my other side effects...

Day #2 I felt tinnitus/itching in my ear. At one point my ears rang so loud that when I spoke, it sounded like I was hearing myself from someone else's perspective. These symptoms continued to subside until they disappeared at day 15. However, around this time the itching turned into what actually felt like pain/infection, this lasted intermittently for a couple days and then subsided. I should note that I was on a plane 6 hours after having the initial intercourse, so this may be unrelated. Although this would be odd, considering I've flown many times and never suffered tinnitus days after flying and not during!

Day #2 I noticed a completely different kind of headache than what I've ever had in my life. And I rarely get headaches and never had take Tylenol (which I've now taken many times in the last 24 days). It felt like a sharp stinging pain, and it occurred randomly in my head (usually in the back/top) and only lasted 10-60 seconds. These random headaches also subsided around the same time that my ear pain disappeared.

Next up was my skin beginning to break out. I have an extremely good complexion, and have never had pimples in my life. I had 3 around my chin area after a couple days, however these all disappeared within a few days. On day 10 I got one above my right eyebrow (slightly yellow centre as well), and it has not subsided sense.. Hopefully not HPV... In fact it's slightly grown in size, and it is still there as I write. This could be due to stress, or a compromised immune system, or more likely... both. The back of my hands (wrist area) also broke out red... But this could be due to overwashing/overdrying my hands. And again, this disappeared around day 15.

One of the more odd symptoms I had was a constant tingle in my left temple. It began around day 6, and peaked around day 11-17 where I felt it constantly!! Very annoying! The only thing that made it feel better was to push in on it... Probably because my body thought I was feeling my finger rather than my nervous system being f****ed up. I can still feel it to this day, though it very rarely occurs and it's much more mild.

Next up, and the main reason I'm posting here... Is that the night of day 22, the tip of my tongue went numb. It was 4AM as I was lying in bed, and it occurred suddenly. I took a flashlight and looked at in the mirror... I noticed a very small (1-2 mm diameter, slightly irregular) white bump at the very tip of my tongue. On further investigation, the back of my tongue was yellow with red spots on it! Most red spots are flat, however there is one larger one in the back that is a raised bump. I scraped as much as I could off with a toothbrush, and since then it has not come back (besides the yellow that I couldn't scrape off). The white bump has grown ever so slightly, and the numb feeling peaked after 24 hours. It has now been 36 hours since first observing the numbness, and it has subsided significantly, though the bump has not reduced in size. I have an excellent diet, take multivitamins, fish oil, etc. And I definitely did not burn my tongue. In addition, after 23 days, I had diarrhea. I just had it the two times today, and I'm not sure if it's due to a preworkout I'm taking (C4) or an infection, as it did occur an hour after consuming C4, so it's probably that.

In addition to all this, I've been extremely tired these past 24 days (relatively, for me at least). Typically I have a ton of energy. I wrestle, play football, swim, and workout. I've struggled at the gym, and only been able to bring myself to work out 3 times in these last 24 days... And oddly enough, my legs and other muscles have been sore for 4 days straight!! I know that this is expected when you first start working your legs out hard... But this hasn't happened to me in years, and my leg workout was extremely light, to say the least.

I'm not expecting an answer that says anything other than "go to the doctor", which I do have an appointment scheduled for 8 days from now. Part of the main reason I'm posting this is because I promise to update my status and let you guys know what I had. That way, people who spend hours roaming the internet for diagnosing themselves have a comprehensive list of symptoms and my final diagnosis. It has now been 24 days since intercourse, and I only have 8 more to go. Currently, I finally feel normal again, except for being slightly tired.

Unfortunately I guess, I'm not typically a stressed person at all... or someone who ever imagines symptoms. I wish I could say I am... but I've been pretty calm during all of this. You guys may think I'm crazy for tracking all these symptoms/and times... but it seemed like the right thing to do in this situation.

My best guess is that I have very mild or asymptomatic genital herpes, and having my immune system in overdrive the last few weeks triggered a yeast infection/other opportunistic bacteria in my mouth, in addition to making me always feel tired and having random head and ear aches. For the first couple weeks, it truly felt like my nervous system was under attack. I hope that I can report this was all due to stress or just thrush or something... but that seems doubtful. Best of luck to all of you concerned readers.

your newest symptoms are cold symptoms, not std symptoms.

Just a quick update:

Currently it's day 34. I feel much better today, almost 100%. However over the past week I've been battling flu-like symptoms. These started a couple days after my last post. Began with a sore throat (day 25-32), followed by a very runny nose (day 27- current), and then a bad cough (day 28-current). I've been coughing up yellow phlegm. Not sure whether this was flu-like symptoms or cold symptoms. I know fever/chills/aches separate the difference between the two... I've felt all of those 3 symptoms as well.. though they've been very mild. Enough so that I'm not sure whether they exist.

I've been to the doctor, and am waiting on blood work results. Being tested for a HIV and a variety of things, the nurse took 3 blood samples, and 3 urine samples.

The tingle in my left temple still persists, though rarely.

Some other odd things I noticed: I'm feeling very slight numbness, dry skin, swelling and redness in my right hand. It went to sleep a week ago, and I had trouble waking it up. But that seems like a long time to still be slightly numb. In addition I've noticed what looks like a wart appear on my eyebrow, and a couple raised brown spots on my chest, though they're pretty small. Also noticed a few red raised bumps beside my nose, they look like warts underneath the skin.

even though you rarely get sick, sounds like you caught a virus of a non-std related nature for the majority of your non-genital symptoms.

your genital symptoms sound like mostly irritation if not a fungal infection.

going to be seen is the best course of action.
