We think we might have herpes

Ok so for the past month and a half I have had pains in my pubic region and my legs well doctor prescribed my to antibiotic for prostatitis... I had penis pain always had to urinate and stuff like that.... Well then I my legs started hurting and burning my pubic region was sensative and sometimes itchy... About five weeks after this started my pubic area got red almost like a rash but not a full rash and still no bumps I occasionally gets bumps on my legs that come and go in about a day but that's it.... Well recently my gf has give me head twice and after both times she has gotten cold sores in her mouth the first time it was just one this time there is 4 under her tongue what could this be

I also have an itchy Anus and blood when I use the restroom any cause or tie in with this

And now off the anti biotics again my penis tip is starting to feel wierd again

Well I have had these wierd pains and symptoms now for almost two months do you think it's herpes... My pains went away taking the anti biotics for the penis pain but I started to get pains in my legs itching in but and legs but no lesions yet do you think it's herpes before I get tested

sounds more like your gf gets canker sores. they are fairly common and not related to herpes.

it's sexually responsible for you both to seek out full std testing that includes type specific herpes igg blood testing prior to starting to have sex. if you haven't done it before now, time to do so.

typically lesions under the tongue are not cold sores.

have you and your gf ever had type specific herpes igg blood testing done to know who has what?

have you had your rash looked at to see if it's a fungal infection from being on antibiotics for your prostate issues?

What about a yeast infection does this sound anything like that

It is possible that it is an STI, but don't worry until you get a positive test. If you shave, you could get a pubic rash. I get it all the time. Pain during urination could be symptomatic of an STD or just another infection. Don't panic, but do get tested.
