herpes is a virus of opportunity. Anything you do that compromises your immune system, i.e., too much sun, not eating properly and regularly, consuming too much sugar, letting yourself get exhausted or run down... any one of these things can trigger outbreaks. It believed that certain foods are triggers, too, like peanuts and chocolate together... i dunno what else. You really have to pay attention to your triggers and try to avoid them. Go for foods with high anti-oxidant content... green tea, coffee, fresh vegetables, dark chocolate (but not with peanuts). Best of luck!
Thanks , I Never Noticed That I Needed Too Watch Wat I'm Eatin . Sometimes I Don't Be Hungry That's Why I Don't Eat . Before I Had Herpes My Immune System Was Already Messed Up
most people do not have food triggers for genital herpes. stress also doesn't trigger recurrences for most people. there is no reason to change your diet for herpes other than the usual advice to eat healthy.
have you been seen and had any sort of further work up done to make sure this is all herpes going on ? how were you originally diagnosed? what medication do you take for herpes - what dose and how often?
